Remote URL - relative local dir?

Hi guys,

Does DVC support relative urls in dvc remote add? So far I’m getting

Error: Initialization error: Config file error: Unsupported URL

Or is it considered not useful feature?

What do you mean by relative urls? Could you show an example of your command please?

Ah sorry, I meant relative file paths. For example “src/notebooks/datasets”. Not sure that’s the right way to do that though.

Ah, right. Yes, it is temporarily unsupported by dvc remote interface. Created https://github.com/iterative/dvc/issues/1421 , we will implement it ASAP and will release a new dvc version with it later today. Thank you for the feedback! :slightly_smiling_face:
