How can I add a file to dvc and generate its dvc with another name and location

As the title says

If I have a file named thefile.something in the folder data how can I add that to dvc managed files but instead of generating a dvc file of the same name, generate a file output.dvc in the folder dvcfiles?

This is something that we have stopped supporting. You’d have to do it manually if you want to keep them together.
